The art is awesome and you're right, it's inspirations gold. I've always been a big fan of dragons and hoped they'd exist for real. Until I saw your piece, I never theorized they could actually be aliens lol, maybe visited earth in the past for the original inspiration of them. They are sentient beings in a lot of fantasy worlds after all, practical deities.
